We have a tried-and-tested process that gives each project structure and direction.
1. Exploration, looking for clues We begin with a discovery workshop to find out as much about you and your business as we possibly can - your offer, audiences, competitors, perception, challenges and aspirations. Then we rigorously research the wider market for further context and understanding and speak with your existing and target audiences to understand the whole picture of the business. Once we have the insight and clues we need, we can start shaping our thoughts.
2. Definition, discovering the real you Next up, we start defining a vision for your brand by creating a ‘brand proposition’. This is a series of statements describing your brand’s personality, attitude, and what sets it apart. By focusing in on these characteristics, we can arrive at a core idea to take your brand forward.
3. Creation Taking our cue from the brand proposition, we explore how to bring the brand proposition to life in different ways by developing several creative routes that range from more reserved to more radical. We consider naming, logo, colour, typography, imagery, graphic style, written tone of voice, for environments - materials, and show you how these might be applied across a range of experiences such as a website, brochure, product, interior.
4. Execution, putting it out there Once we’ve decided on the best route together, we’ll make it happen. This is where we work out just what you need from a website, corporate stationery, a brand film, packaging, uniform design. We finesse and craft the small but telling details, build, refine and launch for maximum impact.
