We connected with Felt at the beginning of 2020 and looking back, it was a crucial decision for the growth of our business. With their combination of professionalism, transparency, wide range of creative skills and clear vision, we’ve been able to trust Felt with a complete overhaul of our existing brand, positively affecting every aspect of our visual language and helping us to build a robust business working across multiple regions. Working with Libby and the team is an absolute pleasure, and we are grateful to have their ongoing support.

Andrew & Susie Williams, Owners, Andrew Dominic Furniture

“We found Libby and the team at Felt very easy to work with. Having an in-house Marketing and PR team, we’re rather meticulous when it comes to agencies, but we felt that Felt shared a similar ethos to that of Unique Homestays. We relish the fact we have an open and honest working relationship with Felt, and find their straightforward and no-nonsense approach very refreshing. Libby and the team have provided us with valuable feedback and insight throughout the redesign process, and we look forward to a long and successful relationship with Felt.”

Sarah Stanley, Owner, Unique Homestays

“I approached Felt to re-brand my business in 2010, not only did they fulfil the goals I set them, they have surpassed all of my expectations. They re-positioned my offer and target audience to what I thought was a very challenging place, focusing on architects and designers, elevating to a higher price point has ensured a more commercially stable customer group. With marketing collateral to deliver the new proposition my business has grown from strength to strength.

I could not recommend Felt highly enough. They work with diligence and passion, always over delivering and exceeding expectation. I continue to work with Felt and our 12 year relationship is a testament to this.”

Tom De Winton, Owner, Reeve Wood

“Working with Felt has been a fantastic experience. What started as a simple redesign of our website several years ago has developed into an ongoing relationship where they have provided outstanding results in branding, advertising, website and assistance with large scale pitch documents. The team at Felt have a brilliant understanding of our whole business structure which means their creative approach to design is one that is backed up by strategic knowledge of what we want to achieve and how we might get there.”

Darren Hawkes, Owner, Darren Hawkes Landscapes

“The work Felt has created with us had an enormous effect on our organisation. It has changed the way we look at ourselves. It was not only a branding exercise but also an identity finding mission. It helped us simplify and clarify everything we do. Our experience of working with Felt is fantastic. We have known Libby and her colleagues as providing the perfect combination of artistic creativity and business-like organisation and excellent project management. With their help we have been able to execute a substantial change process within a relatively short period of time alongside our normal projects and business.”

Doris Mostl, Executive Director, UEG

“The Felt team took us through a focused and efficient analysis of where we were in our industry and translated where we wanted to be into a clear and compelling creative brief and content. The experience was rigorous, challenging, high-end but also friendly and very personalised. Our aim in using Felt was to raise the right profile beyond our existing referral network – we’re seeing this through new conversations and clients outside it. We couldn’t be more delighted.”

James Orrell, Owner, Orrell Consulting

“We were introduced to Felt branding by Wally Olins in 2007. Felt were and still are instrumental in working on Pure’s brand strategy, marketing collateral and environments. My experience of Felt is always very positive. They are extremely talented, conscientious and work with the utmost of integrity. The team are focused, enthusiastic, committed and always deliver work on time and on budget. The fact our working relationship has spanned the years is not a coincidence and reflects the partnership that we have, I have no hesitation in recommending Felt to any prospective company looking for innovative branding solutions.”

Simon Devane, CEO, Pure Sports Medicine

“It has been and remains a pleasure working with Felt, we are lucky to have found them. The team worked with us from the early days of setting up our business. Their support was invaluable in helping us articulate what we do in a way that is clear and simple. They have an ability to quickly understand the nuances and challenges of different sectors, and challenged us in a way that helped us raise our game. We learned a lot on the way, and we get regular feedback from clients and potential clients that the brand and web presence is fresh, accessible, and clear. We are proud of the result. And we wouldn’t have been able to do it without their expertise and support.”

We have years of process driven branding work under our belts,
but as with age we’ve loosened up and our process fits each project
to compliment the wearer.

1. Exploration, looking for clues
We begin with a discovery workshop to find out as much about you and your business as we possibly can – your offer, audiences, competitors, perception, challenges and aspirations. Then we rigorously research the wider market for further context and understanding and speak with your existing and target audiences to understand the whole picture of the business. Once we have the insight and clues we need, we can start shaping our thoughts.

2. Definition, discovering the real you
Next up, we start defining a vision for your brand by creating a ‘brand proposition’. This is a series of statements describing your brand’s personality, attitude, and what sets it apart. By focusing in on these characteristics, we can arrive at a core idea to take your brand forward.

3. Creation
Taking our cue from the brand proposition, we explore how to bring the brand proposition to life in different ways by developing several creative routes that range from more reserved to more radical. We consider naming, logo, colour, typography, imagery, graphic style, written tone of voice, for environments – materials, and show you how these might be applied across a range of experiences such as a website, brochure, product, interior.

4. Execution, putting it out there
Once we’ve decided on the best route together, we’ll make it happen. This is where we work out just what you need from a website, corporate stationery, a brand film, packaging, uniform design. We finesse and craft the small but telling details, build, refine and launch for maximum impact.
